The EKSIG is the first Special Interest Group of the Design Research Society. It is an international society for supporting and developing the interests of the design research community. For more understanding, they use explanatory thesis for dummies. It focuses on Experiential Knowledge and is concerned with the understanding and role of knowledge in research and professional practice in design in order to clarify fundamental principles and practices of using design practice within research both with regard to research regulations and requirements, and research methodology.
